Table 1 indicates the mean frequency of vehicles using tunnels from Monday to Friday per hour. Less vehicles with only 2200 use the Western tunnel compared to more than 5000 and 9000 using the Eastern tunnel and Central tunnel respectively. More private cars use the tunnels than the other vehicles, whereas the least number of vehicles using them on average are buses.
Table 2 presents the mean number of vehicles using tunnels on holidays and weekends per hour. The central tunnel has the greatest number of vehicles with 6000 per hour using it. Taxi and good vehicles have the lowest mean frequency in using the Western tunnel with only 50 each per hour. Private cars use the tunnels most frequently making up almost half of the total number of vehicles.
From Monday to Friday, the Eastern tunnel has over 1200 good vehicles per hour whereas at weekend and on holidays it has fewer than than 600. From Monday to Friday, two times more good vehicles are using the Western tunnel and Eastern tunnels than on holidays and weekends. The average number of taxi using Eastern tunnel and Central tunnel are almost the same, with only a small difference.
